If you love the look of a third-gen Firebird but want modern LS power, this is the one. It's a true Formula with T-tops, repainted in Medium Green Pearl, and it's been built from the engine all the way back to the rear end.Under the cowl hood is a rebuilt 5.3L aluminum-block LS V8 with only about 2,000 miles on the build. It has new pistons, rods and bearings, rebuilt heads, an LS6 cam and valve springs, new intake valves, a high-volume oil pump, an Edelbrock hi-rise intake and Edelbrock Pro-Flo EFI. Behind it is a built 4L60E automatic with a shift kit, and the transmission tuner comes with the car. Out back is a Ford 9-inch Positraction rear end with 3.90 gears.
The chassis is sorted to match: lowered about an inch, with tubular trailing arms, a UMI transmission tunnel brace, a stabilizer bar and four-wheel power disc brakes, riding on 16-inch WS6-style wheels.
Inside, the Beachwood interior was redone to match the original look, with power windows, locks and mirrors, cruise control, tilt wheel and A/C.
Garage-kept by its last two owners, and recently serviced with new brake pads and rotors, new rear shocks, a new serpentine belt, a brake fluid flush, a rear differential service, an oil change, and the A/C repaired and charged. Odometer hasn't worked since the rebuild, so total mileage is unknown. About 2,000 miles on the engine and trans since.
